WHAT IS A health COACH?

Health and Wellness Coaches partner with clients seeking self-directed, lasting changes, aligned with their values, which promote health and wellness and, thereby, enhance well-being.

Health coaches partner with you to identify the tools and motivation you need to meet your health goals. It is a professional, judgement free zone.

 Those goals might include:

  • Eat better
  • Exercise regularly
  • Weight loss
  • Lower stress
  • More energy

Unlike a nutritionist or physical therapist, who makes specific diet and exercise plans, a health coach will help you make better general choices that fit your lifestyle.

Why Would I Need Help?

There are many reasons. You might consider looking for a coach if you:

  • Aren't as healthy as you'd like to be
  • Have chronic health issues
  • Need to reduce your stress
  • Don’t have enough time for yourself
  • Want to learn how to take advantage of your own strengths and talents
  • Your family needs to eat better but you aren’t sure how to accomplish that
  • Confused about proteins, carbs, fats and GMO foods

How Do I Work With a Coach?

You'll meet your health coach in person or via video conference to design your individualized program. In this initial consultation, we'll talk about what you want to accomplish. We'll identify areas where you want to focus and create a coaching package that will serve you best.

In your coaching sessions, we'll brainstorm strategies together, gain insight into who you are, and design the action steps that will help you achieve your goals. With a health coach, you receive support, encouragement and validation as we work towards creating your healthiest self.
